Manchester Hen Party Ideas

Looking to organise the perfect hen party? Manchester is uber trendy, laid back and the ultimate in cool – the greatest place to party! If you are a hen party that likes to party then is the city for you – so get ‘Mad for it’ in Manchester!

Manchester is a city with a long industrial heritage that has undergone a massive facelift in the last 20 years. From the regenerated Salford Quays to the Northern Quarter, Manchester boasts cutting edge architecture. For a spot of culture in Manchester head to Whitworth Art Gallery or for something completely different head to the Stockport Air Raid shelters and step back in time. Fans of Coronation Street should pay homage to the soap at Granada Studios where you can visit a copy of the world famous set.

From top notch shopping at Selfridges, to high street fashion at the Arndale Centre, Manchester spoils you for choice. The trendier alternative crowd can be found posing and shopping at Affleck’s Palace – from retro clothing to tattoo parlours it’s definitely worth a browse.

Manchester is a lively city at the best of times, but even more so when the football is on. Home of world famous arch rivals Manchester United FC and Manchester City FC, match days are a wonder to behold (you’ll never have a more entertaining time in a bar post-match anywhere in the world).

If you are a fan of theatre, dance, comedy, live music and cabaret then Manchester has a plethora of venues that will keep you coming back for more. Big name comedians like Paul Merton can be seen at Comedy Store or head the Lowry for some cutting edge cabaret. You could even take your girls for a Charm School burlesque lesson if you want to girl the showgirls a run for their money! If live music is your thing then Manchester Evening News Arena or the Apollo are worth a visit.

The city is famous for its nightlife. The trendy cocktail crowd can be found in Deansgate Locks or sipping libations in the Northern Quarter. For a wild party head on down to the ‘Gay Village’ located on Canal Street which is also home to the clubs like Purity – Manchester was home to the legendary Hacienda Club (for those who remember the 90s), and while its long since been turned into apartments, Manchester still knows how to party!

Be taught a lesson!
