Feather Fan Dance
For the ultimate in glamour, come and flutter your fans in our Fan Dance hen party. Fan dancing is a captivating dance style, elegant and visually beautiful. Your hen party will work with two large ostrich feather fans each, as we teach you how to ‘hide and reveal’, teasing your audience with the fans, and focusing their attention on illusions of exposure. Classic burlesque fan dance techniques will be learnt, including the ‘peacock’ and ‘angel wings’, plus more risqué moves such as the infamous ‘buttock clam’!
We will then transport you to the Las Vegas stage. Recreating a stunning formation showgirl routine with feather fans and quintessentially glamorous choreography, this part of the workshop takes its inspiration from Copacabana and the Ziegfeld Follies. Dazzling, dangerous and with a certain je ne sais quoi, join us in creating the Hen Party Follies!

What to Wear/Bring:
We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing and shoes as this is a movement-based class. If you would like to dress up in a burlesque or showgirl style, you are very welcome to. Please also bring comfortable high heels. False eyelashes and rhinestones optional!
